decent game

three suggestions

1. Put a fort on each end with X amount of health. The goal is to destroy their fort and defend yours. When you defeat the enemies fort, you get a new battle field.
2. Don't make the battle field so long.
3. it would be cool if you could set spots where your troops would move to. Like when you buy, buy a group of say 5 guys and then that group gets a moveable target that you can move and drop and they will go to it.

bugs and shortcomings:

All I did was buy the gernade guys for 5 TA a pop and just kept buying them till I had so many blue squares started to appear on my screen because they stack ontop of one another, When they stop to fight or hit a barrier they should spread out. But I was getting blue squares because there were so many movie clips stacked onto top of one another. You can also just limit how many of each type can be on the field at any given time.
I started to get bored because all I had to do was keep clicking the gernade guys and went to level 20 and then I let them over run me just to see what would happen as there was nothing else to do.

Great game and I think you got a good concept, just build on it some. nice job

Thanks for the comments, I'll take these into consideration for a future game. Thanks.

Not too bad

You got a fine foundation for a great game, and I recognize the work you put into this, but you need to put in some more and take this to the next level. Some say this was addicting, for me this got repetitive and serious I lost interest because nothing changed or anything new.

Suggestions to make the game better.
1. Make the ship die a lot faster...like three times as fast.
2. Along with point targets and health target, put in energy tagets that will power up a shield. Press and hold space bar to encase your ship in a buble shield. As long as you hold down the spacebar it reduce your energy bar. Targets that hit the shield disappear and don't hit the ship.
3. In addition to your random script that generates your enemies, from time to time put in wave of enemies that completely fill the screen forcing a person to either shoot their way through or use thier shield.
4. You could add alot to this game by adding a repeating background scrolling in the background to give the whole game a sense of motion.
5. You could easily add levels to this game. When reach "X amount of points" go to next level. Change the scrolling background or just add a layer with a different overlay color and whala you break up the play just enough, you give the player a sense of accomplishment that they are advancing, and most importantly you break up the repetiion.

You got skillz and I'll give you that, but you could really push this game if you put your mind to it. I hope you do and look forward to the next version.

Good luck

Awesome

What more can one say than to say this was fun to play. Enjoyed it thanks!

Very cool

Yes it was challenging, but that's what made it fun. I can't tell you, after playing so many of these types of hurriedly sketched mazes with a paintbrush games, I had pretty much given up on them. I think you did a good job showing what is possible if someone would take the time to put a little effort into their game. Nicely donw.

Killer Game

The game play on this was great! Well done.

Very Cool lutc

Serious cool. Loved the suspense and the image in the mirror in the vent freaked me. Had me from that point on. Loved it.

This was great

This was a lot of fun. I like the animations and the music was perfectly cheesy for this type of game. It was well thought out and executed well. Kudos!

Very cool

This was fun to play. It was well made.
My only two comments would be to put somekind of box or line around the name login thing in the intro screen...So i know where to click to input my name.

The other is the lazer...hmmmm maybe you could also put in other color blocks that if gotten, it would upgrae the lazer to be faster or maybe even a multi shot. That would rock.

Great job and thanks! :)

Pretty good

Repetitious but you can tell you put in some work on the animations and sound effcts. I like playing games when you can tell someone put in some effort to make a simple shooter game enjoyable. Nicely done.
