Very simple but fun to play and great transitioning with the instruction allowing you to just jump in and start playing. Great job.

Very cool
Loved it. A lot of fun to play
Not bad
But it gets real laggy at some spots with multi enemies on the stage at one time.
Nicely done
graphics alone make this truely an awesome game. A lot of great design work went into this and it shows.
Great game
two things.
1. HC as president..lol. Huge mistake. As soon as I saw that I almost just closed the game, I am glad I just ignored it and moved on. One should be careful when putting political ideals and concepts into games, because you run the risk of making the game-story not fun or offensive to a large group of people. Also, it dates your game, for example after this year what if HC doesn't even get the nomination? Then what? Just something to conisder, I thik your story could have been great without it is all I am saying, so why put it in and risk it.
2. It might have been nice if you would have mentioned the fact that enemies come in from both roads before the third level when all my money had already been spent defending the southern road. There was no way I was selling back all my guns at a loss in order to get some money to put in new guns to stop the western road. I just said fuck it and shut the game off. Maybe when I get over it I'll come back and play it again and start over. I just felt a little slighted not getting that warning from the beginning and waiting till the third wave when I had no money left to do anything about it.
Other than that great game.
Nice game
Definately see that you put some good effort into this and its fun to play at least for a while. I had everything built and then there wasn't much to do after that. I had fun destroying my stuff with metors and then rebuilding but that was it.
One BIG SUGGESTion and by all that is holy please fix the buttons and in the future do not use text only to make your buttons. Open up your button and put a square in the hit area frame that covers the area of the entire button. Its annoying when you are trying to click on a button and you have to hunt to get the cursor over a part of a letter or text. By putting a square in the hit frame that covers the whole area, If you are doing that and the text is still getting in the way, you can either break the text apart or better yet just put an invisible generic button over the top of the text on the layer above it. there are many ways to make buttons so that you don't have to fight the text, if you need help send me a pm and I'll make you tut file showing the various ways.
Good job on the game I hope you continue to improve it,
The questions that pissed me off
Was that gernades are not useful. You obviously don't know much about hand gernades or the power they have. Throw one into a group of zombies and you will most likely kill or disable a lot of them. Zombies with blown off limbs don't move very well.
Also, shotguns are the perferred weapons for fighting zombies. Rifles may be more accurate, and I may want one if we are talking at a distance, but a shot gun is by far the best choice. The spread of the pattern ensures you will not miss so you can aim quickly and even if you don't hit the head, if you hit them in the body it will knock them backwards and down allowing you time to escape or to shoot them again when they are getting up. You can also get two or more in a single shot with a shot gun. So I tatally disagree with you answers regarding gernades and shotguns...lol
anyways cool quiz.
Unless you are using a slug, shotguns loose their penetration power over a distance I would think as the shot is relatively small and has a low mass per BB.
Window Dressing
I have played this game from this same tutorial that everyone has built this game out of about 4 times now, and there are like 3 versions of it here on NG. Yours is the first that actually took the time to add some decent graphics to it and themed it, bizzare as it was, still it was themed and not bad.
The problem is and will always be until someone changes the code is the randomness of the bonus distance things. If they were the same all the time then skill would be a factor, otherwise it is just dumb luck how far you get.
My suggestion is to take what you learned from the tutorial and expand on it to make it better besides just the window dressing of the elements. Like I said you have been the only one that has in my opinion added some decent graphics and put in a little time on it to make it stand out. Keep up the good work.
Great game
It still a little buggy. I think level 13 or 14 its the one right after the white blocks are introduced and the three purple/pink blocks appear and fall. They keep falling and falling faster and faster then they disappear and don't come back even when you reset it. So couldn't get beyond this level.
Other than that though its a great game. Nicely done
I've noticed this, they're supposed to rest on the green block, I will fix it :).
Until then, you must quickly drag the green block under the purple ones to catch them (after they've fallen), and then use the green block to carry them to the red ground, then use a purple block to send the Ogotu to the exit :).
Thanks for the review!
As an experment?
Ok, but why not use the alpha submission rather than submit it to the portal?
Suggestions however, are to make yourcrosshairs more visble and it would be good if the screen moved automaticaly tracking your crasshairs rather than using the arrow keys. If you can prgram the arrow keys and do hit test scripts you can also put invisible zones on the edges of the screen so that when the cross hairs moves over it, it will move the screen in that direction. Keep developing. Listen to what others have said, then come back when your ready to show off yournext version. good luck.
Thanks that really was useful
